About
Maddie is a PhD student in the Neuroscience Interdepartmental Program. She is interested in how the brain integrates multimodal sensory evidence from a dynamically changing environment with existing knowledge and learned rules to guide flexible decision-making. Previously, she worked with Dr. Denise Cai at Mount Sinai, studying the stability of memory representations. Maddie obtained her B.S. in Psychological & Brain Sciences from UC Santa Barbara. Outside the lab, she can be found docenting at the local zoo or rollerblading in the streets of LA.
