Stellina Ao

Stellina is an M.S. student in the Bioengineering program at UCLA. She is interested in how single-unit encoding and population-level dynamics support complex behavior. To study this, she uses latent variable models to find parsimonious explanations for corticostriatal activity as mice make decisions.
