Felicia Davatolhagh
Postdoctoral Fellow
About
Felicia is a postdoctoral researcher in the Churchland lab investigating how cortical circuits are altered during decision-making in a genetic model for autism. Before joining the lab, she examined the role of a synaptic cell adhesion molecule, Neurexin1alpha, in striatal circuits at the University of Pennsylvania with Dr. Marc Fuccillo. Her research aims to understand the molecular contributions of behavioral abnormalities associated with neuropsychiatric disease. Outside of the lab, Felicia is passionate about DEI and is a member of the Neurobiology department’s Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) group. She also enjoys running, reading, jigsaw puzzles and climbing in her spare time.
