Polo is an undergraduate in the Churchland lab working on understanding decision-making in a genetic mouse model for autism, Neurexin1alpha. He is utilizing a standardized behavioral task from International Brain Laboratory, a two-choice task to probe how priors influence visually-guided decisions. In his free time, he enjoys teaching his peers through the UCLA Undergraduate Learning Assistant (LA) Program in the Sciences, going to the beach, and playing soccer with the lab's team, Synaptic Strikers.
